      <description>Marymount freshman JESSIE DALEY (Herndon, Va./Oakton) was tabbed as the CAC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week after strong finishes in two races last week.  Daley started the season in 106-degree heat Wednesday with a third-place finish, the top CAC runner overall, at Shenandoah University.  She followed that with a 17th place finish, second among CAC competitors, at the Sea Gull opener that included NCAA Division I, II and III opponents.  Daley's time of 23:43 was more than two and a half minutes faster than the previous MU record for a 6K.</description>
