Katie Flores St. Mary's Women's Soccer Senior Flores collected a career-best 11 saves in a loss to Christopher Newport before making six saves at York for her fourth shutout of the season, lifting St. Mary's to its fourth straight semifinal appearance. Brooke Rossiter Salisbury Women's Soccer Sophomore Rossiter recorded a five-point game in the first round of the CAC playoffs on Saturday in an overtime win against Frostburg State. She scored in the fifth minute, assisted on Salisbury's second goal six minutes later, and also scored the game-winner in overtime to send the Sea Gulls into the semifinal round. Read More

Riley Cook Christopher Newport Women's Soccer Sophomore Cook collected her third consecutive Offensive Player of the Week award with four goals, including her second hat trick of the season, in a 2-0 week for the Captains. She scored the second goal in a 2-0 home win against Salisbury, and then helped CNU break a tie for first place and clinch the CAC regular season title for the sixth-straight year with three goals at Mary Washington. One of those three held up as the game-winner, marking her seventh of the season and 12th career game-winning goal. She ran her scoring streak to eight-straight games, tied for third-best in program history. Cook leads the CAC in points (38) and goals (16) this fall.  Read More

Haley Eiser Christopher Newport Women's Soccer Sophomore Eiser totaled nine saves and allowed just one goal in 135 minutes of action between the pipes last week for CNU. She opened the week with a complete-game shutout with five saves against Salisbury. She then tallied four saves in the first 45 minutes against Mary Washington to earn the win against the Eagles. Eisder is now 10-1-0 in goal for the Captains with four solo and two combined shutouts.  Read More

Riley Cook Christopher Newport Women's Soccer Sophomore Cook earned back-to-back Offensive Player of the Week nods after notching four goals and two assists in a 3-0 week for the Captains, including a pair of game-winning scores. She opened the week by registering her first career hat trick and an assist in a 5-0 win over Virginia Wesleyan. She assisted on Gabby Gillis' game-winning goal against Southern Virginia, and scored the game-winning goal against York with a header in the ninth minute of action. Cook has now taken over the CAC lead in scoring with 30 points, and became just the second player in CNU history to score 30 points in each of her first two seasons.  Read More

Kelcie Macomber Mary Washington Women's Soccer Senior Macomber was named Defensive Player of the Week for the second week in a row with a pair of CAC shutout wins in net last week. She She recorded two saves in each in victories over Frostburg State and Salisbury, helping the Eagles extend their winning streak to four straight and their shutout streak to three in a row.  Read More

Riley Cook Christopher Newport Women's Soccer Sophomore Cook scored two goals and assisted on two more to factor into four of CNU's five goals in a 2-0 week. She opened the week with a goal and an assist in a 3-0 non-conference win at Methodist. Later in the week, she assisted on the game's first goal and scored the game-winner in a 2-1 victory at Frostburg State. Cook has now moved into a tied with teammate Gabby Gillis for the league lead in scoring with 20 points, and is also tied for the league lead in game-winning goals with four.  Read More

Kelcie Macomber Mary Washington Women's Soccer Senior Macomber registered four saves as Mary Washington topped St. Mary's, 4-0, on Saturday. The Eagles improved to 6-2-1 overall and 2-0 in CAC play, and their four-goal win was their largest margin of victory over the Seahawks since 1994. Read More

Katie Flores St. Mary's Women's Soccer Senior Flores posted a 0.45 goals against average and 0.923 save percentage in a 2-0 week for St. Mary's. Flores recorded her second shutout of the season with six saves against Catholic and then picked up six more stops in a 3-1 road win over Southern Virginia. She currently ranks second in the CAC with an 0.807 save percentage. Read More

Alex Moody St. Mary's Women's Soccer Sophomore Moody scored three of the team's four goals in St. Mary's 2-0 week. She started the week with the game-winning goal in double overtime over Catholic, converting her first career penalty kick. She then notched two goals, including the game-winner, in the Seahawks' CAC-opening win against Southern Virginia.  Read More

Haley Eiser Christopher Newport Women's Soccer Sophomore Eiser started both games and earned the win in both to improve to 4-0-0 on the season for CNU as the Captains notched road wins at Arcadia and Roanoke last week. She made six stops and allowed just one goal in two games. Eiser played nearly 158 minutes and earned her first career shutout with a 3-0 win at previously-unbeaten Arcadia. For the week, she posted a .857 save percentage and 0.57 goals against average.  Read More

Lindsey Hendrickson Mary Washington Women's Soccer Freshman Hendrickson led Mary Washington to a pair of non conference wins this week, scoring four goals as the Eagles improved to 4-1-1 on the year. On Friday at Marymount, Hendrickson was one of four Eagles to score in a 4-0 victory over the Saints, and on Sunday she added her first collegiate hat trick as UMW defeated Meredith, 5-0. Read More

Regan Benton Salisbury Women's Soccer Freshman Benton posted 11 saves and allowed just one goal in 200 minutes of work between the pipes in a 1-0-1 week for the Sea Gulls. In Saturday's 3-0 victory at Shenandoah, she notched her first career victory and shutout with eight saves. She followed that up with three saves in 110 minutes of action during Sunday's 1-1 tie with Catholic. For the week, she recorded a 0.45 goals against average and .917 save percentage.  Read More

Madison Hemler Penn State Harrisburg Women's Soccer Junior Hemler tallied three goals and two assists in a 3-0 week for the Lions. She opened the week with the game-winning goal in a 3-0 victory over Lancaster Bible, before notching a goal and an assist in victories against Eastern (2-1) and Immaculata (3-0).  Read More

Riley Cook Christopher Newport Women's Soccer Sophomore Cook registered one goal and one assist in the Captains' victory against Dickinson on Wednesday. She knocked in a penalty kick attempt in the 66th minute to seal a 3-1 win for the Captains as they improved to 3-0-0 on the season. Cook also assisted on the first goal of the match to give CNU a 1-0 lead. Read More

Lauren Hall St. Mary's Women's Soccer Senior Hall was part of a St. Mary's defensive unit which posted three shutouts and allowed only 29 shots (14 on goal) over three games. Hall also contributed offensively as she converted her first career penalty kick for her second career goal in the 1-0 road win over Stevenson. Read More

Gabby Gillis Christopher Newport Women's Soccer Senior Gillis scored five of CNU's eight goals last week, including both game-winners, while also adding an assist. CNU's first-ever first team All-American last season, Gillis has picked up right where she left off with a dominating 11-point performance in the two-game week, helping the 17th-ranked Captains open with wins over ninth-ranked Wisconsin-La Crosse and Saint Benedict at the Atlantic Orthopedics Tournament hosted by Virginia Wesleyan University. Gillis opened with both scores in a 2-1 win over Wisconsin-La Crosse, and tallied three goals and an assist in a 5-0 win over Saint Benedict. With last week's performance, she moved to ninth in CNU history in career points, eighth in goals, and tied for eighth in game-winning goals.  Read More

Keiley McCarthy Christopher Newport Women's Soccer Junior McCarthy helped nationally-ranked CNU open the season with a 2-0-0 mark at the Atlantic Orthopedics Tournament. McCarthy and the CNU defense posted a shutout against Saint Benedict and allowed only one goal in two games, to ninth-ranked Wisconsin-La Crosse. She also chipped in an assist on the game-winning goal against Saint Benedict.  Read More
