Six CAC players, led by Stevenson senior Stephanie Eyler and Frostburg State sophomore Adria Graham, were named to the 2011 National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-South Atlantic Region women's soccer team.
Eyler, a four-time first-team All-CAC player who was named the Rookie of the Year in 2008 and Player of the Year in 2009, along with Graham, the 2011 CAC Player of the Year, were first-team all-region choices by the regional coaches.
Eyler broke the CAC career records for goals (63) and points (141), recently became the first Stevenson student-athlete named to the Capital One Academic All-America team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Frostburg State junior defender Erin Proctor earned second team All-South Atlantic Region recognition while third-team all-region honorees include Stevenson junior defender Taylor Zimmerman, Salisbury senior defender Kira Mangone and Salisbury senior forward Amanda Miele.
All six all-region players were named to the 2011 All-CAC team. Zimmerman, a first-team conference all-star in 2010, joined Eyler as a multi-year All-CAC honoree.
