Salisbury University's Sue Ackermann and Robyn Bishop were first-team honorees and were among six Capital Athletic Conference players named to the 2008 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-America team.

Ackermann and Bishop, members of the 2008 CAC Champion Sea Gulls squad that advanced to the NCAA Tournament semifinals before suffering their only loss of the season to eventual national champion Hamilton, were joined on the All-America squad by SU senior teammates Jessica Chmielewski and Kelly Phillips.

Chmielewski and Phillips were second-team All-America selections along with senior Caitlin Erickson of the University of Mary Washington and Lauren Carrier of St. Mary's College of Marland.
