Salisbury sophomore 1B ALI RITTER (Belvidere, N.J./Belvidere) was named the Capital Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week award for April 28, 2008 after belting out a double and three singles and knocked in five runs in six trips to the plate in a non-conference DH sweep at Gettysburg.

Salisbury sophomore shortstop Kelly Waskewicz (Olney, Md./St. John’s College) became the fifth player in Capital Athletic Conference history to be named Conference Player of the Year twice in her career, and SU coach Margie Knight won her seventh Coach of the Year award to lead the 2008 CAC Softball All-Star team.
