York And St. Mary's Advance In 2008 CAC Men's Tennis Tournament

York and St. Mary's, the third and fourth seeds respectively, posted first round victories Tuesday in the 2008 CAC Men's Tennis Championship Tournament.

Third-seeded York blanked sixth-seeded Wesley and advanced to a semifinal clash against second-seeded Mary Washington.  The Eagles qualified for the 2008 CAC semifinals with a victory Sunday against seventh-seeded Hood.

Fourth-seeded St. Mary's downed fifth-seeded Villa Julie, 7-2, to earn a semifinal berth opposite top-seeded Salisbury, which gained a first-round bye in the single-elimination championship.

The 2008 championship will be decided Sunday (4/20) at the home courts of the top-seeded team in the title match.
