Mary Washington Men's Tennis Drops 5-0 Decision To Middlebury In NCAA Tournament Elite 8

The University of Mary Washington men's tennis team fell to
Middlebury College, 5-0, in the NCAA Division III National
Quarterfinals on Tuesday in Lewiston, Maine at Bates College. The
Eagles close the season with a record of 22-7.
Middlebury swept the three doubles matches, with Randy Loden and
Kaz Murata falling at one, 9-7; John James and Jason Dunn fell at
two, 8-3; and Jon Pollak and Evan Goff fell at three, 8-6.
Needing two singles wins to clinch, Middlebury won at two and six
singles for the win. James, Loden, and Murata will compete in the
national singles and doubles draws starting on Friday morning at
Bates.
