Christian March Frostburg State Men's Swimming Senior Frostburg State senior Christian March was named the CAC Athlete of the Week after posting a pair of wins, meet and school records, and NCAA B-Cut times at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational. March won the 200-yard breaststroke in a meet and school record and NCAA B-Cut time of 2:02.96. That time ranks fourth in Division III this season. In the 100-yard breaststroke, March set another meet and school record, and hit another NCAA C-Cut time in 55.83. That time ranks sixth in the nation. He also took third place in the 50-yard freestyle in 21.41, which is the top time in the CAC. Read More

Keven Stahl York Men's Swimming Freshman York freshman Keven Stahl was named the CAC Athlete of the Week for the third consecutive week after posting the top times in the CAC in the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly during the Spartans' non-conference win over Washington & Jefferson. Stahl won the 200 freestyle in a time of 1:44.75, just .32 seconds off York's school record. He also won the 100 butterfly in 52.63. His 200 freestyle mark ranks 34th nationally. He owns the top CAC times in six events this season - the 100 free (48.17), 200 free (1:44.75), 500 free (4:41.57), 1,000 free (9:37.82), 100 fly (52.63), and 200 fly (1:55.88). Read More

Keven Stahl York Men's Swimming Freshman York freshman Keven Stahl was named the CAC Athlete of the Week for the second straight week after breaking four more records in a CAC victory over St. Mary's. Stahl won the 1,000 freestyle in 9:37.82, setting York school and pool records and winning the event by over 41 seconds. He also won the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:41.57, which also set new pool and school records for the Spartans. Stahl owns the top times in the CAC in the 100, 500, and 1,000 freestyles so far this season. Read More

Keven Stahl York Men's Swimming Freshman York freshman Keven Stahl received CAC Athlete of the Week honors after breaking three Salisbury pool records in his collegiate debut for the Spartans. Stahl set new SU pool marks in the 800 freestyle, 400 freestyle, and 200 butterfly, helping the Spartans secure a 171-91 CAC victory. He began the day with a convincing win the 800 freestyle, besting the second-place finisher by nearly 38 seconds with a time of 8:28.97. Stahl then cruised to a win in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:07.90, beating fellow Spartan freshman Kaelan Dowdall by just under seven seconds. He closed out his day with a win in the 400 freestyle, touching the wall in a time of 4:06.09. That time was good enough to win by over 14 seconds. Jeffrey Leckrone Mary Washington Men's Swimming Junior Mary Washington junior Jeffrey Leckrone was named the CAC Athlete of the Week after picking up five wins in the Eagles' opening two meets. In a win over Randolph-Macon last Friday, Leckrone swam the breaststroke leg of the winning 200 medley relay, won the 100 freestyle at 48.47, and capped his evening with a victory in the 200 IM (2:00.69). Against Washington & Lee, he won the 100 breaststroke at 58.13 and the 200 breaststroke at 2:11.12. All of his times rank tops in the CAC, while is 100 breaststroke (4th NCAA) and 200 breaststroke (10th NCAA) rank among the best in Division III this season. Read More

Austin Farrar Mary Washington Men's Swimming Freshman Mary Washington freshman Austin Farrar was chosen as the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week after leading the Eagles to a dual meet win over York on Saturday, capturing first-place finishes in both the 1,000 and 500-yard freestyle races. He won the 1,000 with a time of 10:05.33, and then claimed the 500 at 4:51.22. The Eagles defeated the Spartans, 161-101, completing a perfect 5-0 conference dual meet season. Read More

Morgan Shreiber York Men's Swimming Junior York junior Morgan Schreiber was awarded as the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week for the second straight week after picking up three individual wins in the Spartans' tri-meet split with Marymount and Washington & Lee. Schreiber won the 100 backstroke (54.63), 200 backstroke (2:00.08) and 200 IM (2:04.88), helping the Spartans improve to 4-0 in the CAC with a 198-57 triumph over Marymount. He also swam the leadoff leg of the 200 medley relay squad that placed second. Schreiber now has a team-leading 16 individual victories for the year. Read More

Morgan Shreiber York Men's Swimming Junior York junior Morgan Schreiber was named the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week after posting five individual wins and contributing to four relay victories in a 6-0 stretch for the unbeaten Spartans. In a 116-89 win over Washington College, Schreiber touched first in the 200 IM (2:00.83) and 100 backstroke (54.47) and swam the leadoff leg of the winning 200 medley relay. In a 128-76 triumph over Randolph-Macon, Schreiber captured top honors in the 200 backstroke (2:00.05) and swam leadoff in the victorious 400 medley relay squad. In a CAC victory over Frostburg State, he took gold in the 100 backstroke (1:01.16) and 200 backstroke (2:18.80) and again led off the winning 200 medley relay, which touched in 1:52.43. Shreiber leads the Spartans this season with 13 individual wins and owns the top times in the CAC in the 100 and 200 backstroke. Read More

Dallas Tarkenton Mary Washington Men's Swimming Senior Mary Washington senior Dallas Tarkenton was selected as the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week after leading the Eagles to their first-ever team win at the Gettysburg Invitational last weekend, achieving two NCAA provisional cuts and one Gettysburg Pool record in the process. Tarkenton touched first in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:51.40, winning by nearly five full seconds, on Friday. On Saturday, he broke the GC pool record with an NCAA "B" cut in the 100-yard butterfly at 48.62. He also swam on the winning 400 medley relay which helped UMW come from behind in the last race to win the meet. Tarkenton's 200 time in the butterfly currently ranks third in the nation. Read More

Christian March Frostburg State Men's Swimming Junior Frostburg State junior Christian March was tabbed as the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week for the third time this season after breaking a meet record, a school record, securing two NCAA "B" cut times and a pair of first-place finishes at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational. Both of March's winning times rank among the top five in Division III so far this year. He finished first and set a meet record in the 200 breaststroke with an NCAA "B" cut time of 2:03.48, which ranks fourth in the nation. He also touched first in the 100 breaststroke with another NCAA "B" cut at 56.37, which ranks fifth in the nation. March broke the school record and finished third in the 50 freestyle at 21.19, the 15th-best time nationally. Peter Moyer Salisbury Men's Swimming Sophomore Salisbury sophomore Peter Moyer was named the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week after recording four first-place finishes in a 1-1 week for the Sea Gulls. In a close 110-95 loss to Washington College, Moyer took first in the 200 freestyle (1:58.98) and 400 freestyle (4:16.13). In a victory over Penn State Altoona, Moyer touched first in the 100 breaststroke (1:13.28) and 800 freestyle (9:08.75). Read More

Christian March Frostburg State Men's Swimming Junior Frostburg State junior Christian March was named the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week for the second time this year after collecting three first-place finishes and breaking a pool record last Saturday in a CAC dual meet against Salisbury. March won the 50-meter freestyle (24.90), 100-meter freestyle (55.35), and 100-meter breaststroke (1:06.92). His time in the 100-meter breaststroke set a new Salisbury pool record, and the converted time (1:00.62) ranks first in the CAC and 69th nationally. Read More

Jesse Tate York Men's Swimming Freshman York freshman Jesse Tate was named the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week after breaking two records in the Spartans' CAC victory over Salisbury on Saturday. Tate earned a pair of individual wins with his record-breaking performances, setting a school record in the 100 butterfly (52.62) and breaking the pool record in the 200 IM (1:58.98). He was also a part of the winning 400 medley relay in 3:38.59, and placed second in the 200 freestyle (1:47.51). Tate's times in the 200 IM (27th) and 100 butterfly (30th) rank in the top-30 nationally. Read More

Christian March Frostburg State Men's Swimming Junior Frostburg State junior Christian March was selected as the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week after helping the Bobcats to a 4-1 start to the season with five individual victories in two meets. In a tri-meet with Hampden-Sydney and Barton, March won the 50-meter breaststroke (30.85), 100-meter breaststroke (1:08.08), and the 100-meter IM (1:02.87). In a quad-meet with Goucher, Stevenson, and Hood, March finished first in the 100-yard butterfly (56.47) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:00.86). He also placed second in the 200-yard IM (2:07.01). His 100 breaststroke time currently ranks 33rd nationally. Read More
