Mary Washington Freshman Alex Anderson Earns All-America Honors At NCAA Men's Swimming Championships

Freshman Alex Anderson finished in ninth place in the 400 yard individual medley at the NCAA Division III swimming championships in Indianapolis, Indiana on Thursday.

Anderson, who swam to a time of 4:00.43 in the preliminaries, actually swam the fourth fastest time in the finals, but swam from the consolation heat and placed ninth. His evening time of 3:55.72 broke his own school and conference record by a full two seconds.
