Four CAC men's and women's swimming teams, along with three University of Mary Washington individuals, were recognized for academic success by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.
Marymount University placed both its men's and women's swim teams on the CSCAA's national academic list. Mike Clark's men's squad posted a 3.12 team grade point average while the women's team registered a 3.01 GPA.
The Salisbury women's team, led by coach Jill Stephenson, compiled a 3.38 GPA last year while the St. Mary's women's team, led by coach Andre Barbins, finished with a 3.36 GPA.
Individually, Mary Washington's Justin Anderson, Jason McCormick and Megan DeSmit were also recognized for their academic and athletic success.
