Ports stands alone as York's only three-time first-team All-American. He finished the 2009 campaign with seven goals and nine assists for a team-best 23 points. Ports led the Spartans to their first Capital Athletic Conference Tournament Championship since the 2006 season and into the NCAA Sweet 16.
The two-time CAC Player-of-the-Year leaves the Spartan program after notching 33 scores, including 12 game-winners, while his 35 career assists ties him for first all-time. Ports' 101 career points stands as the third-best total in Spartan men's soccer history. The Spartans made three consecutive trips to the NCAA Tournament during Ports' time in the Green and White, reaching as far as the Elite Eight in 2007.
Ports started in each of York's 68 contests over the previous three campaigns, as he helped lead the Green and White to a remarkable 56-4-8 record, including 21-1-2 in CAC play, during that span.
Sterling is the first player in the 76-year history of the Salisbury men's soccer program to be a two-time All-American. Sterling capped off a brilliant career with a fine senior season in which he led the team in points (41), goals scored (16), assists (nine) and game-winning goals (four).
The 6-foot-2 forward finished the year ranked 19th in the nation in points per game at 2.05. For his play he was named Capital Athletic Conference Player of the Year, a first-team All-CAC recipient and an Eastern Colleges Athletic Conference South Region All-Star. Sterling wrapped up his career with 129 total points on 50 goals and 29 assists.
