John David Coffin Marymount Men's Golf Sophomore Marymount sophomore John David Coffin was honored as the CAC Men's Golfer of the Week after posting a career tournament last week, taking third place at the two-day Lynchburg Invitational with a total of four-over-par 148. Coffin opened play with a five-over 77 one day one, before recording his first-ever under-par round at the collegiate level with a second-day score of one-under 71. His 71 moved him up 14 spots in the standings into third place, and was the low round of the tournament on day two. Read More

Phillip Manceri Mary Washington Men's Golf Sophomore Mary Washington sophomore Phillip Manceri was named the CAC Men's Golfer of the Week after placing second individually and leading the Eagles to a second-place team finish at the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate on Friday and Saturday. Manceri finished the two days at two-under par, shooting 71-69 for a total of 140 to tie for second place overall. His 69 on Saturday was his first collegiate round in the 60s. Read More

Sebastien Bonte Mary Washington Men's Golf Freshman Mary Washington freshman Sebastien Bonte secured CAC Men's Golfer of the Week after taking first place individually and leading the Eagles to a second-place team finish at the UMW Eagles Invitational last week. Bonte shot back-to-back rounds of 73 for a 146, which tied for top honors, and he won the overall tournament via a scorecard tiebreaker. Read More

Joey Corlett Christopher Newport Men's Golf Junior Christopher Newport junior Joey Corlett was honored as the CAC Men's Golfer of the Week after putting together a career-best performance at the 68th Annual Virginia State Golf Association (VSGA) Intercollegiate Championship. Corlett placed second individually out of 101 competitors. with a 36-hole total of two-under par 140 (69-71), finishing three strokes behind tournament champion Damian Beasley from Ferrum. Sebastien Bonte Mary Washington Men's Golf Freshman Mary Washington freshman Sebastien Bonte collected CAC Men's Golfer of the Week accolades for the second time this fall after placing second in a field of 68 golfers at the Ted Keller Memorial Invitational with a two-day total of five-over par 145. Bonte opened the tournament with a +4 74, followed by a +1 round of 71 on the final day of competition. The Eagles finished in fourth place among the 11 competing squads. Read More

Tyler Newton York Men's Golf Junior York junior Tyler Newton was selected as the CAC Men's Co-Golfer of the Week after winning the individual title at the Montgomery Cup in Downingtown, Pa. Newton fired a two-round total of 145 with anopening round even-par 72 and a one-over-par 73 in the second round on Saturday afternoon. The Spartans finished second as a team, tying a school record with a first round score of 292. The Green and White finished with a score of 600, four strokes back of team champion F&M. Read More

Tyler Spielberger Wesley Men's Golf Senior Wesley senior Tyler Spielberger garnered CAC Men's Co-Golfer of the Week honors after winning the Ursinus Fall Invitational with an even-par 71. Spielberger tied for first place with Shane Nocito of Penn State Abington, but took home the individual trophy following a scorecard tiebreaker. It was Wesley's first individual title since Robert Ehrhardt won the Apprentice Glenn Heath Invitational in 2012. Read More

Bonte fired a one-under-par 143 throughout the two days to defeat the second-place finisher by one stroke. Bonte opened the tournament with a one-under 71, followed by an even-par 72 on day two. Tyler Newton York Men's Golf Sophomore York sophomore Tyler Newton earned CAC Golfer of the Week honors after winning the Scarlet Consolation Tournament at the Camp Lejeune Marine Championship. Newton fired a three-day total of two-over par 214 (67-76-71) to edge out the second-place finisher by two strokes among 70 golfers in Jacksonville, N.C. His total of 214 throughout the three rounds was two-over par. Newton started the tournament with a three-under-par 67 on the scarlet course on Friday. He followed that with a four-over-par 76 during Saturday's round at the gold course. He concluded the tournament with a one-over-par 71 on Sunday to earn the win in the Scarlet bracket. Morgan Uhlick York Men's Golf Freshman York freshman Morgan Uhlick was tabbed as the CAC Golfer of the Week after placing in a tie for fourth at the McDaniel Spring Invitational last weekend. Uhlick started to the two-day tournament at the Bridges Golf Club with a four-over-par 76 on Saturday, before carding a six-over 78 on Sunday for a two-day total of 154. David Rabil Christopher Newport Men's Golf Sophomore Christopher Newport sophomore David Rabil was selected as the CAC Golfer of the Week for the second time this year after capturing his first career victory at the Callaway Gardens Invitational on March 6-7. Rabil tied for top honors at the tournament with a one-over par 145 (75-70). He led the field with 10 birdies in the 36-hole event. Last weekend, Rabil placed 18th at the Jekyll Island Intercollegiate, finishing with a five-over 221 (74-69-78) including his teambest sixth round of par or lower this season. Dylan Chessher Wesley Men's Golf Senior Wesley senior Dylan Chessher was named the CAC Co-Golfer of the Week after recording the second-best two-round total in conference history with a 4-under par 140 at the Revolutionary College Classic hosted by Ursinus. Chessher carded a 69 (-3) on day one and it followed that up with a day two 71 (-1) to secure first place individually and help the Wolverines to a third-place team finish. Chessher's two-day total of 140 tied for the second-best two-day score in CAC history, matching York's Kevin Long (2012) and Wesley's Robert Ehrhardt (2013). Read More

David Rabil Christopher Newport Men's Golf Sophomore Christopher Newport sophomore David Rabil was named the CAC Co-Golfer of the Week after setting new CAC and school records for single-round scoring with an 7-under 64 at the Golfweek Division III Fall Invitational. Rabil sandwiched his record-breaking round with a pair of 76's to finish tied for 10th in the 95-player field at 3-over par 216. He also competed at the Royal Lakes/Oglethorpe Fall Invitational, finishing tied for 40th with a +7, firing a 75-76 in the two-day event. Rabil's 7-under 64 breaks former teammate Matt DiSalvo's CAC single-round record of 6-under 64 for the lowest round in conference history. Read More
