What is your favorite spot on campus? My favorite spot on campus is the basketball locker room because it's very quiet and relaxing.
Other than your team, what organization (s) do you participate in? I participate in youth basketball clinics during the summer. I am a camp instructor and my job is to teach the kids the basics of the game of basketball.
What is the most important societal issue facing college students? The economic recession that we are experiencing now will affect students trying to enroll in college because student loans are much harder to get approved. Also graduating college, students have to worry about whether jobs will be available for them once they finish school.
What is your major and what is the most important thing you learned in that discipline? Business management is my major and the most important thing that I have learned is that you can not manage every individual the same because everyone possess different personalities.
Other than your family members, who was the most influential person in your life? The most influential person in my life is Cynica Belmont. He introduced me to the game of basketball when I was 13 years old. He pushed me during my offseasons throughout college and high school by waking up at 6:30 a.m. every morning so I could shoot 1,000 jump shots while he rebounded. Cynica always made me finish everything I started and he constantly reminds me that while I am sitting around doing nothing, somebody somewhere is working out trying to get better. That's the reason why I am always in the gym.
If you could give one piece of advice to elementary school children, what would that advice be? To dream big and to set goals because you can do anything if you work hard at it and believe in yourself.
What is your favorite form of entertainment? Listening to music and watching music videos because it relaxes me and it also gets me pumped up for big games.
Outside of the Capital Athletic Conference, who or what is your favorite sports person or team? My favorite sports person is Michael Jordan because he was so passionate about the game and he worked hard to become the best basketball player who ever played the game. His legacy still remains and he motivates me to work hard to become the best player that I can be.
Name three (3) people, real or fictional, living or dead, that you'd like to have dinner with? I would like to have dinner with God because he has blessed me with all of the talent that I have. I would also like to have dinner with my coach, Jerry Kobasa, because he is like a father figure to me. I have known him for eight years now and if it was not for his toughness and leadership off the court, I don't know what I would be doing today. Last, I would like to have dinner with my Grandmother who passed away in 2002. She believed in me when no one else did and she told me that I would be successful. So everything I do in life is dedicated to her.
