Nine CAC field hockey players, including five from Salisbury, three from Mary Washington and one from York, were named to the 2011 Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Region team.

CAC champion Salisbury earned five all-region berths, including senior forward Courtney Webster, senior defender Tara McGovern and junior midfielder Kristina Fusco on the first team.  Second-team honorees include senior forwards Alison Bloodsworth and Caitlin Walker.

Mary Washington, which finished third in the CAC regular-season standings, gained three nods on the all-region team, including senior forward Morgan Jones on the first team along with sophomore forward Caitlin Baker and junior midfielder Lisa Charney as second-team honorees.

York senior defender Colleen O'Rourke was also selected as a second-team all-region honoree.
