Salisbury's Eric Robichaud And Gallaudet's Carlisle Robinson Capture Weekly Swim Awards

Salisbury freshman ERIC ROBICHAUD (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) and Gallaudet junior CARLISLE ROBINSON (Carmel, Ind./Carmel) were selected as the CAC Swimming Athletes of the Week for Feb. 2, 2010.
MEN'S SWIMMING
Salisbury freshman ERIC ROBICHAUD (Annapolis,
Md./Broadneck) was selected the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete
of the Week after both sprint freestyle races and contributing to
the meet-opening victory that helped the Sea Gulls topple Catholic
University in the team's final outing of the dual meet season.
Robichaud was part of the 400 medley relay team that gave SU the
early lead. Robichaud needed to outstretch sophomore teammate
Stephen Eyler by just .14 seconds to complete the sweep of the 50
and 100 freestyle races.
WOMEN'S
SWIMMING
Gallaudet junior CARLISLE ROBINSON (Carmel, Ind./Carmel) was selected the CAC Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week after winning three events in the team's season-ending meet vs. Notre Dame (Md.). Robinson won the 200 freestyle (2:08.91), 200 butterfly (2:35.50) and the 500 freestyle (5:47.00).
SPECIAL MENTION: Salisbury sophomore KATIE FITZENREITER (Columbia, Md./Atholton) cruised to a pair of individual golds in Saturday's season-ending victory over Catholic, winning the 1,000 freestyle (11:32.24) by a 30-second margin and the 500 freestyle (5:38.72) by more than 11 seconds.
