St. Mary's Freshmen Billy DeBoissiere And Kelly Heyde Both Capture Their Second CAC Swim Athlete Of The Week Awards

St. Mary's freshmen BILLY DeBOISSIERE (Columbia, Md./Atholton) and KELLY HEYDE (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) were selected as the CAC Swimming Athletes of the Week for Nov. 17, 2009.

MEN'S SWIMMING

St. Mary's freshman BILLY DeBOISSIERE (Columbia, Md./Atholton) was selected the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week after winning three events - the 1,000 freestyle (10:32.57), 500 freestyle (5:04.85) and 100 breaststroke (1:00.08) in a dual meet at Washington (Md.) College. He now owns a 3-0 mark in both the 1000 free and 500 free while boasting a 4-0 mark in the 100 breast. DeBoissiere currently owns the top time in the CAC in the 1000 free as well as the top times in the 100 and 200 breaststrokes.

WOMEN'S SWIMMING

St. Mary's freshman KELLY HEYDE (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) was selected the CAC Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week for the second time this season after winning three gold medals at Washington (Md.). She touched the wall first in the 200 individual medley in 2:13.59 and claimed first place in the 100 butterfly in 59 seconds flat. Heyde also won the 100 backstroke in 1:03.52. She is now 3-0 in the 200 IM while holding the CAC's top time in the 200 IM, the 200 fly and the 1000 free.
