Thomsen, Jaeger And Sullivan Honored With Weekly CAC Awards

Marymount senior golfer KEVIN THOMSEN (Rocky Hill, Conn./Rocky Hill), York senior men's cross country runner JESSE JAEGER (Kingsville, Md./Perry Hall) and Mary Washington sophomore women's cross country standout HAYLEY SULLIVAN (Burke, Va./Lake Braddock) were selected as the Sept. 30 CAC Athletes of the Week in their respective sports.
GOLF
Marymount senior KEVIN THOMSEN (Rocky Hill, Conn./Rocky Hill) was named the CAC Golfer of the Week after winning medalist honors at the Messiah College Falcon Classic. Thomsen's one-over-par 73 on the 6,880-yard course led the 82-player event and lifted the Saints to fifth place in the team standings.
MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
York senior JESSE JAEGER (Kingsville, Md./Perry
Hall) was named the Oct. 7 CAC Men's Cross Country Athlete
of the Week after finishing second among Division III runners in
the Goucher Classic. Jaeger, who wins the CAC weekly honor for the
second time in the last three weeks, covered the 8K course in
suburban Baltimore in 28:12.81.
WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Mary Washington sophomore HAYLEY SULLIVAN (Burke,
Va./Lake Braddock) was selected as the CAC Women's Cross
Country Athlete of the Week for the fourth time this season after
finishing 18th overall, and the first Division III runner across
the finish line, at the George Mason Invitational.
