Gallaudet Names Joseph Kolcun as Game Management Assistant/Intramurals Coordinator 

WASHINGTON, DC - Gallaudet Interim Athletic Director Mike Weinstock recently announced a new addition to the athletics staff. Joseph "Joey" Kolcun joins Gallaudet Athletics as the Game Management Assistant/Intramurals Coordinator. His duties will include assisting the Game Management Coordinator with game day management as well as coordinating the intramurals program.

The Pennsylvania native is a Gallaudet alumnus; he graduated in 2002 with a B.A. in Therapeutic Recreation and completed his M.S. in Leisure Service Administration in 2005, also from Gallaudet. He  played baseball during his undergraduate years and was heavily involved in the intramural sports program.

After graduate school, Joey gained professional experience as the Academic Bowl Coordinator. His main duty was coordinating the Mid-Atlantic Region and the National Academic Bowls. Joey resides in the District, and also participates in club sports as a recreational hobby. Joey will begin his duties with Gallaudet Athletics on September 24th.
